Last week I was able to go to IMTS 2010 in Chicago. It’s basically the largest trade show held for the people that make the stuff, that makes the stuff that you buy.
And was able to see some of Chicago while I was there.

Had a chance to watch Atlanta graffiti artist Deka (PS/AF) transform a boring white wall in my friend’s backyard to a colorful focal point and area of conversation. I had been familiar with Deka’s work having seen many of his pieces around town and was excited to get to watch him approach a blank canvas from start to finish. 
And here is the “finished” piece complete with shadow and highlight details. Deka could sit here for hours detailing this piece out but the fading daylight brought things to an abrupt halt.

A few weeks back I was able to cross The Atlanta Beltline off of my “I should have done this sooner” list. 
I have officially come out of hibernation just in time for the release of the much anticipated Apple Tablet. Won’t be long until it’s 76˚ and sunny over Atlanta. Decided to switch up the phone to something a little more warm.

Anyone who knows anything about Atlanta Graffiti knows Hense. Hense’s large scale pieces and all city bombing are responsible for my interest in the art form. If you are going to be in the A this weekend stop by The Rail Yard and check out a different side of the artist.
